![]() ![]() My post was only concerning real needs and real problems of professional sound Engineers when using this console. I can't comment on that since I only work with professional acts and all my colleagues are professional mixing engineers, so I don't personally know anyone that is doing this job that don't understand sound or mixing. There are a lot of people that have gotten into digital mixer that don’t even understand sound or mixing. Many Engineers do the same, as Paul also explained he uses the X32 Edit extensively for Pre-Event setup, I do the same as most Touring Engineers that don't tour with a fixed console will do also.īTW most of the problems that people are having with digital mixers (not just the WING) are related to a lack of experience. I always and always prepare the session before the gig, most of the times in the previous days at home, but other times when I have too many gigs in a row and travelling a lot to the gigs I prepare the Session in my computer when I'm in the Van on the way to the show. It's been many years now that I never go to any gig without having the Session file prepared for the console that is supplied. ![]() You have easy access to a Wing, so yes you will not feel the same need for an offline editor as everyone else that doesn't have access to the console before the show and needs to prepare a Session file for the show beforehand. You are missing something really important, is that you are only viewing the situation for a very personal point of view and not from what other people might need. ![]() While I think an offline editor would be really nice to have I have been using the WING for concerts and been getting along fine without an offline editor but I have had easy access to a WING. ![]()
